Terms of Use

By using Klan S you accept these terms. The service is provided by: Ahmet Ezbet, İstanbul, Türkiye, contact: iletisim.klans@gmail.com. The Turkish version is the original; if the two differ, the Turkish text applies.

1. The service

Klan S is a mobile app for tracking workouts, nutrition and body measurements that optionally lets you connect with a trainer. The app's core features are free and can be used without an account.

3. Your account

When you create an account you must give accurate information, protect your password and are responsible for what is done with your account. You may not share your account with anyone else.

4. Subscription and payment

• The Premium subscription is bought through the App Store or Google Play; you pay the store, not us.
• A 3-day free trial is offered. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled.
• You cancel in your store account's subscription settings; after cancelling, Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refund requests are subject to Apple's and Google's refund policies.
• We may change prices; you will be told before a change takes effect, and it does not affect your current period.

5. The trainer relationship

Connecting to a trainer is your choice. Trainers are independent people; Klan S is not responsible for the programmes, advice or services they give. Any payment arrangement between you and a trainer is outside the app. When your subscription ends, your trainer connection is not deleted; only data sharing stops.

6. League, verified records and Klan squads

• The gym league and the verified record board are for fun and motivation; they promise no prizes.
• For a "verified" record, the reps and form are checked from the recordings of the gym station camera; the weight lifted is entered by the user. Entering a false weight breaches these terms; we may remove such records from the board.
• "Nudge" notifications to a squad mate are limited to one a day and must not be used to harass.

7. Trainers' content

Voice cues a trainer records, and the programmes and habits they assign, belong to and are the responsibility of the trainer. The trainer is responsible for making sure their recordings contain nothing that infringes others' rights, is insulting or is misleading. We may remove inappropriate content.

8. Unacceptable use

You can report an inappropriate message or person from inside the app and end a trainer connection at any time. We review reports and, where needed, remove content or close accounts.

• Using someone else's photo or identity
• Using the app to harass, spam or for illegal purposes
• Trying to break the system, unlock paid features for free or send excessive requests
• Trying to access other users' data

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

9. Your content

The photos and records you upload belong to you. You only give us the right needed to show this content to you (and to the trainer you choose).

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will work without interruption or errors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for injuries, data loss or indirect damage arising from use of the app.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may close your account if you seriously breach these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye; the courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul have jurisdiction over disputes. Your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees is reserved.
